Found this interesting chair at Köln Messe while attending Game Developers Conference Europe 2009. It is Lümmel and more info can be found here: http://www.myluemmel.de/en/
The chair affords different sitting positions and looks weird and funky. Easy to carry and surprisingly comfortable to sit.

Brainstorming techniques and tools: Thinkpak and Thinkertoys by Michael Michalko

Michael Michalko has put together an excellent introduction to different creativity techniques and brainstorming methods. As a companion for the book, a card deck of questions based on SCAMPER method is also sold on Amazon.com. The deck can be used as a tool for structurizing the brainstorming session. Both are good additions to your brainstorming room library.

Brainstorm Table brings paper back to meeting room

This retroish-product prototype wipes your problems of documentation. Each brainstorming session is captured to one sheet of paper (or should we say on couple of sheets). Nice prototype, but they need to work more on the usability/ergonomics: what happens when your pile of the paper is getting lower? Oh, maybe it is part of the concept to sit on the floor...

DIY: Custom whiteboards with Idea Paint

The Crayon-generation can now officially draw on the walls. This product turns any surface into whiteboard. They also seem to advertise this product as an environment friendly option for the traditional whiteboards. Hmm.. didn't know they were such a havoc..

Egg-shaped meeting room

Mindlabs meeting room breaks the conventions: it is egg-shaped and you can draw to any surface inside the egg. Cool and interesting idea, designed by Bosch & Fjord.
